Dan Fogelberg: A great singer; a full life.

Folk singers touch us through their music. Most folks will remember 'Same Auld Lang Syne', a song frequently played around Christmas and New Years. I liked all his music; I still like it, and as he is gone now, treasure the ones we have. His music is associated with a period in my life in the mid seventies, late seventies and early eighties. 

Folk singing is close to poetry set to music for me.  The images add another dimension with color and texture and mood. This one is timeless.
